Elan Power, an ambitious leap by a famous sailboat builder (Elan Yachts | uncompromising in every sense (elan-yachts.com)) into the world of motor yachts. The production was a brownfield investment, geographically far from the know-how centre. The first boats were of poor quality, but then grew rapidly in quality and sales – until the crisis of 2008. Currently this motor yachts are known as Focus Yachts (Focus Motor Yachts (focus-motoryachts.com))

The first model of the Elan Power series, a design by Tony Castro, built by workers with no experience at the beginning, but ended as a success story. About 200 boats were sold worldwide.

This was our first boat for Elan. Our job focused on the DETAIL DESIGN and the PRODUCTION SUPPORT, but we were there from the beginning, in the definition phase (DESIGN TASK) and in the first sketches (CONCEPT DESIGN). The best possible school for us as young engineers at the time.
